HIGH PERFORMANCE CENTER

Who we are?

HIGH PERFORMANCE CENTER CAR Sierra Nevada belongs to Higher Council of Sports – Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.

CAR Sierra Nevada is located at 2320 meters above the sea level, which together with superb sport facilities and magnificent surrounding, the location within 70 km from the coast of Granada and 125 km to Malaga, makes of it the ideal place for practicing sport at high altitude.

High Performance Center´s architecture was a great challenge as the architects Estanislao Pérez Pita and Jerónimo Junquera needed to adopt a bulky ensemble to a slope field without modifying it too much and avoiding a mountain building style clichés.
