In case you have been a guest of the Sierra Nevada High Performance Centre during the years 2020 to 2024, we inform you that, due to a security incident, our files have been encrypted by malicious software, resulting in the irreversible loss of your personal data. It is unknown whether the attacker accessed the content of these files and, consequently, your personal information. The data affected by the incident include identification data (name and surname, date of birth, gender, ID number and photocopy of ID card in case of having stayed during the last 30 days), contact data (telephone number and e-mail address), economic data (invoices), and others that have not been possible to determine.
The technical and organizational measures of a corrective and reactive nature set out in the company’s internal procedures, as well as in the best incident response management practices, were implemented, isolating the affected system, and containing the attack and the impact derived from it. In addition, a cybersecurity service provider has been contracted to perform a forensic analysis of the incident. Potential consequences for you include the loss of control over your personal data, the impossibility or difficulty in executing the scheduled booking with us, and the risk of identity theft. In this regard, we recommend that you contact the customer service mailbox, via the following email address car.granada@csd.gob.es, to restore your personal data in relation to any outstanding bookings you may have. Please check any communications you receive to ensure that they are legitimate, especially if they request personal or financial information.
